Commercial Record

The registration of the following facts is compulsory:

• Opening of Commercial Establishment

• Close of Commercial Establishment

• Alteration of the activity performed

• Change of the Establishment Holder

• Change of the Establishment Name or Insignia

The registration must be presented in duplicate, at the Directorate-General of Trade and Competition, or at the Ministry of Economy District Board in the respective area.

The non-registration in the commercial record of the facts above mentioned constitutes an administrative offence punishable with a fine from 50.000€ to 100.000€, for natural persons, and from 200.000€ to 500.000€ for legal persons.
