Time in  / Time out Record (Workers)

Pursuant to article 162nd of the Labour Code, the “employer must keep a record that allows controlling the number of working hours carried out by the worker, per day and per week, showing what time the work has started and finished”.

Moreover, article 204th sets down that the “employer must keep a record of overtime (before it and right after it), where the hours of the time in and time out of the extra work are written down”.

As to comply with these legal obligations, the employers may use computing means or simply keep a manual record. For such purpose, we are attaching two examples of the above-mentioned records, which can be reproduced:

a) Time in/Time out Record

b) Extra work Record

In January and July, the employer must send to Work Conditions Authority a list with the names of the workers who rendered extra work during the previous semestre.
