Time
in / Time out Record (Workers)
Pursuant to
article 162nd of the
Labour Code, the “employer must
keep a record that allows controlling the number of
working hours carried out by the worker, per day and per
week, showing what time the work has started and
finished”.
Moreover,
article 204th sets down that the “employer must keep a
record of overtime (before it and right after it), where
the hours of the time in and time out of the extra work
are written down”.
As to comply
with these legal obligations, the employers may use
computing means or simply keep a manual record. For such
purpose, we are attaching two examples of the
above-mentioned records, which can be reproduced:

In January
and July, the employer must send to
Work Conditions
Authority
a list with
the names of the workers who rendered extra work during
the previous semestre.
